Star Again's debut album, "Warn the Wise", produced and engineered by Dan Deurloo (After Rome Studios - The ReadyGoes, Epic Hero, Huna), features some of Minnesota's best talent from beyond the band across tremendously varied soundscapes. Disc One: "Motion Sick" opens with larger-than-life rock and roll, but quickly pulls its listener into an intense emotional valley -- a chronicle of the breakdown of humanity, but one that inspires belief in a promise that it can someday be restored. With Disc Two: "Wolves", the album takes it's listeners into the next dimension. The set opens with a dramatic change in acoustic direction with the crushing duet "Part by Part", featuring the vocal talent of Caitlyn Smith. The remainder of "Wolves" encompasses honest Americana, moving ballads, and the marriage of music and spiritual awakening. |
